I almost always have several on the go – something next the bed to read before I go to sleep, something worthy to read a chapter at a time on Sunday afternoons, something in my handbag to read on the train, and then the e-reader in case I finish that one. And then probably two or three that I started reading and then forgot about!
(I found The Hare with Amber Eyes absolutely fascinating, and Patrick Leigh Fermor is always a delightful read.)
