Oh goodness, how fun to see a copy of this book in it’s Penguin dustcover. Although in truth I remember very little of the actual plot, I do remember reading it when I was wild about espionage tales. I may have wanted to be a spy myself, but soon discovered I could never be devious enough to pull it off. And there was no hope I could ever become a double agent – I have a hard enough time not getting confused when reading about them.
