Well, anything within reason.
Well, anything within reason about Speak Its Name.
You can ask me about Wheels, too, though that’s almost certainly not going to be its name, and I might not answer due to a) being paranoid; b) not actually knowing the answer.
But seriously, if there are things you want to know about me and my writing, comment on this post, and I’ll do my best to give an interesting and coherent answer.
My question: how do you feel about western atheism? I would not consider myself an atheist at all, but finding it hard to re establish a spiritual practice.

Interesting question! I think that atheism is a perfectly rational position, but it does not feel true to me. Western atheism seems to suffer from much the same problem as western spirituality: too dominated by the voices of the privileged. The atheists I know seem to spend as much time explaining that yes, they think Richard Dawkins is a bit of a cock too, as I do saying the same about George Carey.
I know what you mean about finding it difficult to establish a spiritual practice. The only way that I’ve found I’m able to do it is to a) incorporate it into my existing routines – the other thing that I do on the train, apart from writing and reading, is to say Morning and Evening Prayer using an app on my phone. I’ve also resigned myself to the fact that I’m never going to settle to any one daily practice in my own time, so I try to set aside the last hour of the day for some kind of prayer/spiritual practice/reflection. Which could be a full-on lectio divina, or could be a bitchy diary entry. Permission seems to be the key.

Yeah, I kinda didn’t get the spiritual practice I was expecting 😉 I just don’t feel quite right in a church, unless I’m sitting in one alone, just in quiet contemplation.
